If you've just joined, or are about to join our clinic, you will be receiving a welcome letter in the mail soon. To help you be more prepared, here are some answers to common questions...
We don't have any copays! Membership includes unlimited medical appointments, and that includes your first 'establish care visit.'
Unless you have some acute, more urgent needs for your first visit, expect to spend about 30 minutes getting to know your provider and letting them get to know you, your health history, and your goals.
Be prepared to fill out a little bit of paperwork if you haven't already. It's not that much, and we'll only ask you to fill it out once. We like to stay a bit old-school and get some actual signatures from you.
You can also bring all of your current prescriptions (if any) that you are taking, in the bottles.
No need to request former health records or anything - we'll get some verbal information from you during the visit, and if there is anything we'd like to see on paper, we can request that on your behalf.
It's easy! Just call us, email us, or contact us through our website.
If you're sick or injured, we promise to get you in the same or next day. If it can wait, we usually can get you seen by your primary care provider within 2-3 days.
We like to say it's best to have 'one person drive the bus.' Therefore, we'll help you establish with a primary care provider in our office that might be the best fit for you. Any normal appointments or follow-ups to care will be done through that primary provider. But, if you're sick or injured and need to be seen today, you'll be seeing whomever is most readily available that day.
One thing worth noting... once you establish with one of our providers, it's as if you've established with them all! They have very close communication and contact with each other, so if one member is in need of a specialty in which another one of our provider excels, you get the expertise of all of our providers on the team. Basically, we're working together as a team to make sure all of our members get the best care possible!
First, you'll need to have your establish care appointment with your primary care provider. At that point, we'll make sure that we either stock your medications or know where to send them for the best price / service / etc.
Once you need refills, it's as easy as sending a text to our medication refill line: 509-204-5192, calling our office at 509-823-4650, or sending an email to our medical office assistants! Just make sure you include the name of the medication or refill number. If your medication was filled by a pharmacy and you would like them to keep filling that medication, call your pharmacy and have them send us a refill request. In case they need it, our fax number is 509-823-4652.
Please call us first! Unless you have a life-threatening emergency, call our office number. Even after-hours! We're on call for our members 24/7.
We've had people call us on their way to the emergency room and have been able to help them avoid that frustrating, expensive place. So please, call us first!
Give us a call! There's a lot we can do over the phone or virtually. We want to make sure you don't spend more on healthcare than you need. Our providers are able to call in prescriptions to any state in the U.S.A, and will let you know if it's best to go to an urgent care or emergency room only as a last resort.
Be on the lookout for our welcome letter, which will have all of our phone numbers and contact information for you to save in your phone.
In the meantime, treat us as your trusted Healthcare Navigators! We're here to make sure you get and stay healthy and don't spend more on healthcare than you nee
