Depression is one of the most prevalent and devastating assaults to mental health.
Anyone who has experienced the suffering of depression, whether firsthand or through a loved one, knows that it is a profound struggle.
While the road to recovery is often long, there are helpful tools that you can use to help yourself, or someone you love, as they struggle to find healing and wholeness again.
Join Holly Porter, our clinic psychotherapist, for a compassionate workshop on depression.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Is this group therapy?
No – this is a workshop, much more like a class. Holly may ask questions of the group, or ask people to practice exercises individually, but participation is optional. We only ask that you come prepared to listen and participate in individual / non-public activities.
Can I bring my child(ren)?
Young adults (15+ y/o) are welcome to join (please complete the registration process). As we want to create as much of a distraction-free environment as possible, we appreciate you finding other care and accommodations for your younger children.
Can I invite my friend who is not a member?
We begin by offering our classes and workshops to members only. Should room be available a few days prior to the seminar or workshop, then we allow non-members to join for a reasonable fee.
I can’t make this seminar, will there be more?
Yes! We’ll have more in the future. If you have any ideas on what kinds of seminars will be valuable to you (or a time that might work better), drop us a note via our contact form. We’d love to hear from you.
